Our Clients rely on our Care Professionals to support them with everyday tasks at home. You’ll get full training through our accredited training program and full support from our team. We’ll help you grow your skills and build a career in care.
What We Do:
At Nottinghamshire Care Group, we provide award-winning homecare. Our team is friendly, professional, and always puts the client first. Every client has a personalised care plan that includes their likes, needs, and hobbies. We carefully match each care professional with a client to make sure they connect and enjoy their time together.
Our visits are focused on helping clients achieve their daily goals—this might be getting ready in the morning, making meals, or simply enjoying a chat. You’ll also help give families peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are in safe hands.
Main Duties:
Provide the best possible care at all times.
Follow Nottinghamshire Care Group policies and procedures.
Keep in touch with the Registered Manager, especially if anything changes with a client’s needs.
Help clients with personal care, like washing, bathing, and getting dressed.
Prepare meals, drinks, and snacks for the client according to their preferences,
Support clients with everyday tasks like cleaning, shopping, laundry, and paying bills.
Administer the clients' medication as prescribed (carer must have medication management training to do this).
Attend meetings, training, and team events as necessary.
Work with other professionals involved in the client’s care, such as nurses and social workers
Keep clear and professional records (e.g., care notes, medication charts).
Offer companionship and emotional support to the client as needed.
Help clients move safely and comfortably within their home (manual handling training must be completed).
Use your judgement and initiative and work within your competence levels at all times.
What We're Looking For:
Experience and Skills:
No experience needed – full training will be given.
Good communication skills (spoken and written).
Organised and good at managing time.
Experience in care is helpful but not essential.
Driver's licence preferred but not essential.
Qualities:
You genuinely care about helping others.
Positive and friendly attitude.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to keep learning and developing your skills.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to making a difference.
Able to build warm, professional relationships with clients.
