Nottinghamshire Care Group are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to provide domiciliary care to our service users. Experience in care work is not necessary, as we will provide you with all the required training and support.
As a Care Worker, you will enjoy interacting with elderly and vulnerable seniors and assisting them with their daily living activities.
We have full-time and part-time opportunities available, and we are open-minded to different shift patterns. So, if you can only work in the evenings or weekends, or you would like to discuss shifts that fit around childcare, we would like to hear from you.

Your role as a Care Worker
You will encourage and support service users in their day-to-day lives, enabling them to live more fulfilling lives, whilst helping them remain in their own home by providing high-quality person-centred care. You will be responsible for a wide range of care needs or supporting the service user, taking into account their individual personality and lifestyle choices.
You will be passionate about making a difference to the quality of life for our service users.
The role of a Care Worker is varied and largely depends on the service users you are working with.
Main duties
Provide high quality person-centred care to service users in their own homes, in accordance with their support plan.
Treat service users with dignity and respect, communicating effectively to meet their diverse needs.
Help with personal care, like washing, bathing, and getting dressed.
Prepare meals, drinks and snacks.
Support clients with everyday tasks like cleaning, shopping, laundry and paying bills.
Offer companionship and emotional support.
Help clients move safely and comfortably within their home.
Help service users to access the community, socialise and undertake leisure activities.
Maintaining appropriate records to meet the needs of the service, observing and promptly reporting changes or concerns in the service user's circumstances or condition.
Essential skills:
A friendly, caring and sensitive approach
Respect for individuals, regardless of their race, gender and culture
Willingness to participate in training relevant for this post, including the Care Certificate
Fitness to carry out the function of this post which may include; moving and handling, use of a hoist or wheelchair, personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping and leisure activities
Excellent listening skills and an ability to build up a rapport with people
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to use own initiative
IT literate
Time management skills and ability to prioritise
Right to work in the UK
DBS certificate (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
Desirable skills:
Previous experience of working within a care environment, or caring for family/friend
A full, clean Driving licence (walkers are also welcome)
Experience of using electronic recording systems.
